I have retired from private investigation after more than 30 years in the business. I used to operate from Sydney and now live on the mid-north coast of NSW in beautiful peaceful Port Macquarie.
I originate from Vienna, Austria and arrived in Australia from Germany when I was still a teenager. I've lived in culturally diverse societies in several countries and have travelled extensively throughout Europe. I would like to think I am a tolerant man, but admit to being entirely cynical where politicians and governments are concerned.
My motto in investigative work was always Striving to Excel. My attitude was that if a client had to ask "and what about..." then surely I had failed. Leave nothing out, but cover all that is relevant.
I primarily carried out factual investigations related to civil litigation and general liability. I think I am particularly well versed with common law and statutory liability. I estimate I've carried out around ten thousand factual and insurance fraud investigations during my investigation career. I was burdened by being a perfectionist investigator and the standards of my reports were a source of pride to me.
Many private investigators currently practicing in Australia have benefited from my guidance and mentoring. Currently I provide free help to members and visitors on my website.
I have authored several ebooks which are available free in the members section. I have also written hundreds of instruction papers and guides over the years.
