FORMATION OF NOTES
Notes can be made with any writing instrument and can be made on any substance and they will still be admissible in evidence. But the Investigator should always adopt a professional approach to note taking.
An Investigator should be prepared to make notes at any time and should always be in possession of proper note making implements.
A failure to be adequately prepared and equipped may result in the investigators credibility being questioned at a later time.
Notes should be either:
- Hand-written
- Electronically recorded
